Actually, the right "jailbreak" is pretty easy to do so it does not affect the performance of your terminal, although it can be completely reversed, performs well for all your Apple phones.

Complete Guide Start-to-Finish iPhone Jailbreak Guide [iOS 11 / 11.1.2]

Shortly after the iPhone's first release in 2007, people began to tell us about ways to potentially use Web applications in ways that were not entirely limited to Apple's mandatory browsers. Once the iPhone 3G is on the shelf, people are amazed by thousands of apps that can now be directly downloaded to the phone itself without the need for browser interaction. While there are now over ten thousand different applications that users can download and use in their spare time, there are still some limitations that customers can still cut.

The Science of JailBreaking iPhone

Jailbreaking is the answer to many people's desire to find new ways to bypass their existing limitations by integrating Web application security from Apple; his name practically speaks for itself. With an imprisoned iPhone, you can have access to features that have been locked by Apple; locked capability is a relatively standard tariff on other phones, making a lot of people see the jailbroken iPhone because basically just being a modern phone that works well. Some features that are blocked before jailbreaking are simple things like video recording, personalized ringtones, zoom in to focus better on images, and can customize the common interface with your own icons. With the use of jailbreak, iPhone owners can have access to all the limited features thanks to the ability to run third-party applications that Apple chooses to not distribute by itself. The program is, to avoid a clash with Apple, which is distributed entirely through the developing party and continues to operate fully. If third-party applications are distributed through Apple, third-party developers must pay distribution fees.

Potential JailBreaking

If you're feeling a bit more anarchic than an average bear, there may be more interesting things to look at than just being able to record videos that are a bit longer than is normally allowed. When the phone is really in jail, there's more to the user than what the less experienced person might trust. Before we can dive into what is truly the range of iPhone jailbroken capabilities, however, we must first be aware of how an ordinary iPhone runs.

Advantages and disadvantages

The benefits are obvious. The jailbroken iPhone is capable of providing much more functionality than the standard ones. Here are some of the benefits of jailbreak:

  • Ability to unlock the network;
  • Possibility of modifying file system;
  • The ability to install apps is rejected by Apple and other apps developed by third party companies through Cydia;
  • Able to install software for free;
  • Possible adjustments for devices that have pre-installed iOS versions;
  • Bluetooth transfer between iPhone and other devices (iPhone, iPod, PC, ... devices that have Bluetooth)
The drawback is small. The jailbreak process can actually be reversed by means of a simple restore in iTunes. The only real drawback can happen when you jailbreak your iPhone, the process crashes and sometimes you are forced to continue or do a restore.

  • Possible loss of warranty. However, with a simple recovery process in iTunes, take this phone to its original form;
  • Reduced functionality, for many applications installed in Cydia. Applies when you misuse the installation software;

Cydia is a program that can be used to install, browse and download all the third-party apps you need, and be in the general jailbreaking tool that you will get when searching for your own virtual rig for absolutely free. Browse the web app

Potential Unlock any iPhone

Another major reason to consider jailbreaking is to open a window to unlock the phone. While jailbreaking and unlocking seem very easy to be confused because the exact same thing, they are actually very different. To jailbreak the phone means getting it from unlimited access to third-party apps, unlocking the iPhone refers to the carrier. The unlocked iPhone is locked because its SIM lock is broken, allowing it to have full compatibility with the operator that the user chooses to subscribe to. The jailbroken iPhone does not immediately imply that the phone can subscribe to any carrier than it wants, but this means the phone has at least potential.

The ability to unlock the phone is given to the iPhone after jailbreaking because of the effect on the phone's firmware, allowing it to have access to a number of third-party applications. Firmware is easy to understand if you combine your understanding of hardware and software. Hardware is related to the physical components of your device, the software has to do with programs that can be enabled and run on the device, and the firmware concerns internal code that gives different instructions for hardware to follow. Firmware can be compared with the "script" that the iPhone has in order to operate. Your iPhone Firmware also determines the level of different installed security patches in the device that will be enabled if needed. While Apple often releases updated firmware versions to make their devices less vulnerable to bugs and provide updated features, the jailed iPhone generally does not require such an update.

Do not confuse jailbreak by unlocking (unlocking device from certain network to use career). Jailbreak without unlocking possible, not vice versa!

Things to remember about iPhone Jailbreak

Jailbreaking your iPhone can indeed be an interesting and relatively economical concept; there are some small details that should not be described if you really are going through it. The type of method used to jailbreak a phone varies between different models, so you should introduce your specific phone model and method to jailbreaking the phone specifically; Ignoring a check can result in irreparable damage to your device, which will be dormant because you made changes to the manufacturing settings.

Is it legal

Yes! There is an effort in the U.S. for this process is prohibited, but the court has given a verdict that the jailbreak process is completely legal provided you do not use code owned by others.
What needs to be done first is to look for a free jailbreak tool to handle the job. We should also check if the latest version of iTunes runs on your iPhone. This should be synced correctly so that important files will be easily backed up.

If you're interested in learning how to jailbreak your iPhone for free, here are some step-by-step guides you can follow to enable it:

LiberiOS Jailbreak for iOS 11 / 11.1.2

Jailbreak developer and iOS hacker Jonathan Levin stands up for the challenge and releases LiberiOS, a new jailbreak tool that allows, for the first time, to semi-jailbreak iOS 11 and iOS 11.1.2. That means every time your iPhone is rebooted you will be forced to run the LiberiOS app and jailbreak again.

Remember also that LiberiOS jailbreak has a 7 day certificate, so after a week of installation you have to install the app again using Cydia Impactor.

  • LiberiOS is a free jailbreak tool that supports iOS 11, iOS 11.0.1, iOS 11.0.2, iOS 11.0.3, iOS 11.1, iOS 11.1.1, iOS 11.1.2.
  • LiberiOS supports all iOS devices upgraded to iOS 11 or later, so iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone SE , iPhone 5s, iPad Pro 12.9 ", iPad Pro 12.9" (second generation), iPad Pro 10.5 ", iPad Pro 9.7", iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad (2017), iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2.
  • The jailbreak is semi-tethered and therefore requires a resume of several steps each time you restart the device.
Perform a full backup (perhaps in iTunes and iCloud), from your device before starting the jailbreak process.

Also make sure your device has enough battery life to complete the entire jailbreaking operation.

Note: Currently Cydia is not included in this jailbreak and therefore will not be installed. We advise against searching and installing Cydia through unauthorized sources. Be patient, this is the first release of LiberiOS and maybe this tool will be fixed later, including automatic installation of Cydia and compatibility with Mobile Substrate.

How to Use LiberiOS on iPhone

  1. First download the application LiberiOS Jailbreak and Cydia Impactor. Cydia Impactor is a tool available on PC, Mac and Linux versions. Download, version compatible with your operating system.
  2. Install the LiberiOS IPA file using Cydia Impactor - Just connect your iPhone to the computer via cable and open Cydia Impactor on your computer. Then drag the LiberiOS file into the program and enter the email address of your Apple ID and password. Do not worry, data will only be sent to Apple. Apple Developer account is required otherwise the process will fail.
  3. After the automated Cydia Impactor process, you will find the LiberiOS app on your device's home screen. Before opening it, go to Settings> General> Device Management and click on the new profile you just installed on your device. Click "authorized developer".
  4. Go back to the Home screen and open the LiberiOS app and click "Do" to start the actual jailbreak procedure. From now on the jailbreaking procedure will be completely automated and in the end you will have an iPhone with iOS 11 jailbroken. LiberiOS will confirm the jailbreak implementation with the message "It worked".
  5. Once this is done, every time the iPhone is restarted, you need to run the LiberiOS app again to use all the tweaks that are installed on the device. Otherwise, your iPhone will start in a non-jailbroken condition. Remember also that LiberiOS profile expires every 7 days, so it needs to be re-installed app every week through Cydia Impactor.
As mentioned, this jailbreak tool is still preliminary and may be fixed in the future. If you are not a developer or you do not have enough knowledge to continue manual installation of Cydia or other tweaks, we suggest you wait for a slower and more stable release.

iOS 10.1.1 - iOS 10.2 Jailbreak Semi-Untethered

iOS 10.2 Jailbreak is finally here via Yalu Jailbreak App and can be used on 64 bit devices, iPhone 5, iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone SE, iPad Pro, iPad mini 2, 3 and 4, iPad Air 1 and 2 on iOS 10 - 10.2. It works on the iPhone 7 as well, but only runs iOS 10.1.1.

The jailbreak type we're going to do today is a semi-untethered jailbreak, which means that you do not need a computer to jailbreak your device again every time you restart your iPhone, but you need to run Yalu Apps directly from your phone.

Before proceeding, remember that being a jailbreak made through the Yalu Application, your certificate will expire every seven days so you need to reinstall the Yalu app every week to keep your device jailbroken. It does not take more than a second or two to repeat weekly installs, however, if this is a showstopper for you, than you have to wait a little longer until another option will be available. Make sure that we will report it and create a tutorial as soon as different versions will come out, so you can subscribe to our mailing list to get the news in your inbox.

If it's okay with you, let's move on!

Note: This jailbreak does not work on iOS 10.2.1 or 32 bit devices. If you are in 10.2.1, you should downgrade to 10.2 via iTunes because now Apple is still in 10.2.

Backup your iPhone

You need to back up not only to make your cool stuff backed up, but also to be able to downgrade in the future if needed. You also never know what's wrong, especially when doing a jailbreak and you need to wipe your phone, so backup may be useful if needed.

Cydia Impactor

If you do not already have it, you need to download and install Cydia Impactor on your computer because this is what we will use to install Yalu Application on your iPhone.

For those unfamiliar with Cydia Impactor, this software lets you install iPhone Applications from your computer by creating certificates for seven days. Hence the need for re-install weekly. This will basically turn you into a developer in the eyes of Apple and you are allowed to install Apps stored locally as if you wanted to try them on your iPhone.

Install Application Yalu

  • Download the Yalu app from here (click the Download Now button)
  • Connect your iPhone to your computer via USB
  • Run Cydia Impactor and drag the Yalu (ipa expension) application to the Cydia Impactor interface
  • Add your Apple credentials (will be sent directly to Apple)
Now Yalu App is installed on your computer, but we still need to take more steps before running it.

Trust Yalu App

Since this App is installed by a third party and not through the Apple Store, you must notify the device that you trust the developer (which you promised in your previous step). To do this, go to Settings -> General -> Device Management, choose Application Yalu and hit trust.

Now you just need to launch the Yalu App, tap jailbreak and boom! (note: you may have to try more than once)

As said before, steps 3 and 4 need to be repeated every week because the certificate is expired. After restarting your iPhone, you just need to run Yalu again.

iOS 9.3.3 - 9.2 Jailbreak Available - but Rough

As we expected, this jailbreak came from Pangu Team: the previous jailbreak also came from Pangu and, while this is good news, their jailbreak tools are sometimes a little rough around the edges. Jailbreak 9.3.3 is newly Chinese-speaking, Pangu has released an English version, and it is only available for Windows. It's also a semi-tethered jailbreak, which means every time you reboot your iPhone you have to use the app to get things done again.

Note: The new jailbreak by Pangu has been designed for iOS devices on a 64-bit standard: this means you will not be able to install jailbreak tools on Apple devices under the A7 series. So, with the iPhone it means the model before the iPhone 5S, 4S, and below it, will be locked.

For now, Pangu will only work on PCs, which means Mac users are out of luck. But that's no problem, because there is a new way of jailbreaking iOS 9.3.3 without using a computer. So if you only have a Mac computer, do not worry, because you can use iOS 9.2 to jailbreak iOS 9.3.3 in just minutes.

The good news about this jailbreak is that the Pangu tool is not too complicated to use, and it really only takes a few clicks.

Ideally you'll wait until they iron out all the bugs in this tool, but if you really want to jailbreaking right now, then it can be done.

Here's How to Jailbreak iPhone Runs iOS 9 - 9.0.2

We have to admit that Pangu Team surprised everyone by releasing the jailbreak for iOS 9 to iOS 9.0.2, supporting Pluss / 6s / 5c / 5s / 5s Plus / 6/6 Plus / 6 / 6s Plus / 6 / 6s Plus iPhone 6S terminal. This tutorial will show you the right way to jailbreak an iPhone running iOS 9.0.2 with Pangu 9.

Before you begin, here are some important notes:

  • Start by backing up all your data to iCloud or iTunes;
  • If you have upgraded to the iOS 9 version of the 'Over The Air' (OTA) update system, you must make sure to first restore to the new version of iOS 9.0.2 from iTunes. Failure to do this may result in a jailbreak failure on your iPhone. IOS 9.0.2 is available from here;
  • The latest version of iTunes is installed.
  • The first step is to turn off Find My iPhone on your iPhone. To do so, go to Settings - iCloud - Find My iPhone - then turn off 'Find my iPhone'.
  • Turn off Passcode and Touch ID unlock. Do this by navigating to Settings - Touch ID & Passcode, then tap 'Turn Passcode Off'.
  • From Settings, enable Airplane Mode.
  • Download Pangu 9 for Windows or Mac.
  • Launch Pangu 9 by connecting iPhone to your computer.
  • In order for the jailbreak to start, you should now click the Start button in the center.
  • Another window will open: to continue, tap 'It's ready.'
  • You will see during the jailbreak process that two apps appear on the Home screen - one named WWDC and the other named Pangu. Now your iPhone will reboot automatically, after which the tool will ask you to unlock your device and turn on Airplane Mode.

  • Once you turn on Airplane Mode again, you'll see that the tool continues with the jailbreaking process.
  • Now wait a moment, and will ask you to run the Pangu app from your Home screen. Do this, and when prompted to grant access to the Photos app.
  • Wait a few moments while jailbreak is complete: You will then get the 'Jailbreak Completed' message on this tool. It is now safe for you to close the Pangu app on Windows. When your terminal restarts you will see that you now have Cydia on the Home screen.
And that's all there is to it. Your iPhone is now jailbroken.

Now that you've imprisoned your iPhone, do not forget to turn on Find My iPhone and Touch ID / Passcode on your device.
